Nancy Drew's Season 2 PlotĪccording to the official Season 2 synopsis, Nancy and her friends must work together to stop Agaleca before their horrific visions come true. However, nothing is ever simple for the Drew Crew, and complications arise when a detective arrives in Horseshoe Bay, and he believes Nancy's responsible for the assault on a comatose girl. Nancy severs the connection to the creature, prompting it to curse the gang with gruesome visions. Nancy and her friends are also plagued by visions of their impending deaths after summoning the sea spirit Aglaeca. The spirit gives the gang Lucy's bones and demands a blood sacrifice from Nancy's boyfriend, Owen, who is murdered by Joshua. Meanwhile, George, who at one point becomes possessed by Tiffany's spirit, has a love affair with Ryan, but she has feelings for Nick. Bess also must uncover the secrets of her own parentage. She also works to clear the name of her adoptive father, Carson, after he is arrested by his ex-girlfriend, Detective Karen. Nancy must come to terms with the truth about her parents. Throughout the season, each of the Drew Crew deals with personal drama. The former Sea Queen gave Nancy to Carson Drew and his wife, Katherine, before killing herself. Throughout the season, Nancy and the Drew Crew uncover many buried secrets, including the revelation that Nancy is Lucy's biological daughter. It isn't long before Nancy connects Tiffany's murder to that of Lucy Sable, the former Sea Queen of Horseshoe Bay, whose ghost is haunting the town. Lonely and frustrated, Nancy is roped back into the world of sleuthing when she and the Drew Crew, a.k.a. George, Bess, Nick and Ace, become suspects in the murder of socialite Tiffany Hudson. Following her mother's death, Nancy puts her college plans on hold and begins working as a waitress, abandoning her hobby of solving mysteries in the process.
